Doc series distributed to colleges nationwide

A unique partnership with the Clery Center for Security on Campus and Allied Universal, a leading facility services company and the largest security force in North America, resulted in the roll out of a series of video-based roll call training tools for campus public safety personnel.

The five short films cover a variety of topics including cultural awareness, sexual assault, trauma-informed response, Clery act regulations, and a film highlighting campus security as part of the fabric of a university culture.

The program packaged launched in September 2017 via series of webinars conducted by the Clery Center where they introduced the films and companion learning materials.  Allied Universal alone will distribute the film to its more than 500 campuses and 150,000 employees.

“It’s our pleasure to be able to make these videos available for the benefit of public safety personnel to keep students safe everywhere,” says Jonathan Kassa, Director of Higher Education. “The fact that we are able to partner with the foremost authority on campus safety, the Clery Center, at a time when institutions are gearing up for a new academic year makes it more meaningful.”

“We hope these videos spark important campus conversations on how officers can best connect with and support members of their own unique campus communities and open the door to more in-depth training on these critical topics.”  Alison Kiss, Clery Center Executive Director
