(2003) Red Darkness Before Dawn

An exploration of the horrors of Romanian Communism. Providing testimony of ex-political prisoners and historians alike, the film explores many of the torturous methods employed by the regime.

• Finalist for the Dore Schary Awards, given out by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).

  1. I feel there pain……my self being a victim of that regime.After being followed for 6 months by the Securitate ,I successfully escaped Comunist Romania.They got revenge by killing my mother and expelling my father and brother 3 days after the funeral.I see America’s future…..I lived in my past!
