In an unprecedented success, three recent RowanDOCS films were honored at the Broadcast Educator’s Association (BEA) media festival, honoring the best student documentaries from around the country. Submissions come from over 300 participating schools and over 1,450 annual entries from around the world, making it one of the premier events for student work.
The Mayor, by Paisley Blair, Claire McKissick, Kyle Foor, Taylor Corson, AnnaRose Rubright, won 2nd Place in the Short Documentary category. Receiving awards of excellence were The City of Sisterly Love, by Eric Posey, Austin Simmons, Marissa Armandi, James Molloy, Gary Panter; Bigorexia, by Jodi Moser, Victoria Todorova, Frank Villarreal, Samuel Kramer.
All of the films can now be streamed for free.
